Bolingbrook Epoxy Flooring is an epoxy flooring contractor based in Bolingbrook, IL, with more than 20 years of experience coating concrete. We work on home garages and basements, retail and office floors, restaurant kitchens, shop floors and the large distribution slabs that line the interstate corridor, and we approach each one the same way: by looking hard at the concrete before talking about color.
Most of what we know came from floors that failed for someone else. Blisters over a damp slab, peeling over a sealer nobody ground off, cracks reopening through a fresh coat. Those failures shaped the way we quote, prepare and install, and they are why our proposals spend more words on the slab than on the finish.
Our Approach

We open every slab mechanically, with a diamond grinder or a shot blaster, and never acid etch. We test for moisture as a priced part of the scope, whether the floor is a two-car garage, a basement or a warehouse aisle, and we read the cracks, joints and old coatings before we quote. When a slab needs repair or replacement before it can hold a coating, we say so on the first visit rather than after the money is spent.
Our proposals name the product, the system build and the finished thickness, priced per square foot for the floor we actually intend to install, so you can check what went down against what was quoted. We read the warranty exclusions aloud before the job is sold, with moisture first. Homeowners get a written contract and the Home Repair: Know Your Consumer Rights pamphlet before work begins, as the Illinois Home Repair and Remodeling Act requires.
We schedule curing by slab temperature and dew point rather than by the calendar, and we will tell you when an unheated garage has to wait for spring. Grinding dust is collected at the machine and never washed toward a drain. Every coating we use falls within the Illinois VOC limits, which bind the installer as well as the manufacturer, and we never sell a floor coating as radon reduction, since that work requires a state license.
Because Illinois issues no state license for flooring work, we check each village’s own registration, bond and insurance rules before scheduling a job there. For commercial clients, we plan around racking, joints, dock schedules and opening hours, and we specify food-service floors to pass Will County Health Department plan review.
What We Do
We install epoxy garage floors, flake and metallic epoxy floors, polyaspartic floor coatings, basement floor epoxy and polished concrete floors for homes, along with commercial epoxy flooring, warehouse floor coatings, ESD flooring and commercial kitchen flooring for businesses. We also handle concrete grinding and concrete floor repair as standalone work or as the first stage of a new floor. If you have a floor in Bolingbrook or a nearby village that needs attention, ask us for a free written estimate and we will start by looking at the slab.
